Aux Mêmes, once a traditional Gascogne hilltop farm, set in the heart of the Gascony countryside with rolling hills and magnificent views of the Pyrenees. Now a retreat for holiday-makers looking for a secluded gite or quiet campsite with mobilehome.
The rolling hills and views are still here of course, embellished by a lovely blue pool, a children’s playground and a bar/café area where you can enjoy the tranquility that exudes at all times of day. |

Far enough away from the mountains to enjoy the warmer and more settled climate of the south of France, but close enough for days out in the peaks that’s perfect for anyone searching for peace and quiet.
There are views of the local village church and sunflower fields, classic features of the entire area which is home to Armagnac and good wine, D'Artagnan and the Musketeers and plenty of understated delights.
Traditional France, in other words, where in contrast to normal daily life there always seems to be plenty of time to do everything you want. |

| The Gers has a mild stable
climate with plenty of sunshine and offers something for everyone. There are
vibrant markets with fresh local produce such as foie gras and Armagnac
(reputedly the oldest brandy in the world). |
| For relaxation there are several thermal
spa towns within easy reach. For more sporting pastimes there's lots of
walking, hiking and cycling possibilities both locally and in the Pyrenees.
There's also water sports and skiing in season, and many golf courses near by. |

| The historic town of Auch, the capital of the Gers is
30 mins away and both Pau and Toulouse with their shopping centres,
international airports and AutoRoute links are just over an hour away. Lourdes is just over an hour away and both the Atlantic Ocean (the dunes of Arcachon, Biarritz) and the Mediterranean Sea (Sete, Narbonne, and Perpignan) are a good day out. |
